Ruby and zoisite has been carved into an exquisitely carved Buddha head.  Zoisite is also commonly found in blue and pink known as tanzanite and thulite respectively. This beautiful combination of green zoisite and ruby with black hornblende is known as Anyolite.  Anyolite is from the Maasai word for green and is mined in Tanzania. Every detail is there from the serene look to the sea shell curls of the head piece. The green zoisite shimmers in the light, as if it has been sprinkled with fairy dust accented by deep red ruby masses.
