Cathedral quartz is a beautiful quartz formation that is often confused with the geode formations, such as amethyst. Cathedral quartz often forms lesser points that frequently resemble turrets of medieval castles. They frequently are highly etched and many have record keepers as well as trigonic record keepers. Cathedral quartz is associated with the higher realms and is a high vibrational crystal. They store an amazing amount of information. They work with one to open their higher consciousness. They keep one moving forward along their path, helping to prevent stagnation and regression. These crystals have gentle energy which is often very powerful. Their soothing energy makes them beautiful additions to meditation and healing work. Cathedral quartz crystals are master healers and will work on all levels and chakras. They are also excellent assistants in group work such as meditations or healing rooms.

When we saw this cathedral at the showroom last year, it literally took our breath away. Bright golden citrine has highlights of smoky quartz around its formation. It's surface is highly etched with some skeletal formations on the interior, giving it some characteristics of an elestial too. The main face has been polished, yet retains some of the natural features. It provides a clear window to the interior which is otherwise obscured by the intense etchings on the surface. Look carefully at the interior chambers to find the moving enhydro bubble. If you see the bubble, but it doesn't move, tap the crystal lightly as it gets a little stuck sometimes. The bottom has also been cut and lightly polished which allows the crystals to stand. Hold and turn it in the light to watch the light play sometimes bursting into rainbows too. There is a large self healed companion which is also highly etched that lays beside the main crystal. There are a few minor bruises, as well as some matrix that clings to the surface adding character and charm to the crystal. This stunning spirit is from Brazil.

This is a majestic spirit in energy too. There is great knowledge and wisdom. The energy is not too fast, not too slow. Its regular and steady beats help to slow you down or pick you up as needed. The energy is intensely healing, but it works slowly and methodically not to overwhelm you. There is no one area in which they excel, as they work on all aspects of your well-being, working to alleviate chronic issues.

Cathedral Quartz crystals are named after their shape. They look like mini castles! The ones of the type shown above are not to be confused with Amethyst Geodes; these have only just started to be referred to Cathedrals in the last few years, where the crystals like the one shown above have been referred to Cathedrals for many decades. Clear Cathedrals are referred to as Lightbrary Cathedrals. Lightbraries are said to house the Libraries of Light!

These crystals have doorways in them, more often than not, in their castling definition. To travel into the crystal, just gaze into the doorway, you will see it open and your consciousness will be drawn into the crystal. From there you can travel into different chambers and receive information that you are ready for at that time. You can also travel in inner and outer space in complete safety within the crystal.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging. Natural Citrine is rare, most bright gold Citrine is actually heated Amethyst (like 98% of it). Citrine Elestials are very powerful vital organ cleansers and rejuvenators. It makes a very powerful all round elixir.

Enhydro means "water within". These are crystals that contain pockets of pure water, mysteriously trapped in ages gone by. Water has been found in chalcedony, agate and quartz and is usually perceived by the presence of moving gas bubbles in the water. Very occasionally, there are pockets of water with no bubble but a tiny floating inclusion.

As water indicates the emotions, these crystals can have a profound effect on our emotional life. In Nature, water that cannot move becomes stagnated - as emotions that cannot be expressed stagnate. Enhydros contain water trapped in very limited space, but the water has remained clean and pure for millennia. The signature of these crystals indicates a purification of the emotions, even if those emotions stagnated under conditions of severe deprivation.

Our emotional health is paramount. Both the Earth and our bodies are 70% water. Analyze the impetus for action and you will see it is emotional, i.e. motivated by the emotions. Any crystal which Nature shows is clearly connected to emotional health is extremely important at this time. Their uses are extensive. They are beautiful, mysterious and powerful crystals, which you will rarely come across.
