Phenomenal Black Phantom Naica Selenite Crystal in Custom Wood Base (M11665)

Ever since I first found black selenite I have been on the look out for more of this stunning material. These formations tend to be quite large, the first one we found was as big as a tree trunk! While a few specimens are popping up here and there, this is still an unusual find. In fact the only information I can find is that black selenite is found in the Cave of Swords, a secondary Naica Mine in Mexico. However I have seen reports that these crystals are from the Cave of Giants. The beautiful black phantom inclusions are a combination of carbon with traces of manganese and iron.

This incredible selenite tower fills the room with its majestic presence. Most of the sides are smooth, leading up to the large termination. However two of the sides so a grouping of crystal formations jetting out in rugged peaks. A section of the side is rough with dozens of small crystal formations. In some light the selenite appears all black, but rotating it you can see the phantom lines and dense inclusions of carbon. The minor empathy bruising around the crystal is easily overlooked. The bottom of the crystal has been cut to accommodate the base and allows it to stand on its own. Otherwise this crystal is fully in its natural state. It comes with its own wooden base that can accommodate a light source underneath the crystal.

This crystal resonates strongly with the pure white energy of selenite which fills the room. Its energy works to clear the energy system of negativity and helps one work through any blockages that prevents healing. It strongly activates the higher chakras, from the third-eye up. Holding this crystal you can feel yourself transported to the cave of its origin, surrounded by the white light and energy of the cave. (Without the physical discomforts.) The carbon inclusions temper the energy of the selenite, making it easier to work with. Physically it helps one cope with the aches and pains of healing, while assisting one to work through the emotional aspects of healing. Its energy is both stabilizing and grounding. This is truly an incredible piece in energy and formation.

The crystal measures 13.25" x 5" x 4.5" and weighs 16.7 lbs. The base measures 5.75" x 5.75" x 2", crystal and stand weigh 17.7 lbs.
