Let me start by saying that this is an incredible once and a lifetime piece. We found this outstanding beauty in Tucson, where it had many people admiring it. We initially balked over the price, but found we just could not pass this one up, its energy, beauty and formation are just to special. There is an amazing array of formations and minerals present. It is a breathtakingly beautiful piece with energy to match. The main crystal is smoky citrine which has a coat of glittering chalcedony. This overlay is mainly white but is turning pink in some areas. Tourmaline crystals in shades of pink and green, although small, and not the main energy, are present. Mica plates add their own shimmering energy. A beautiful crown of rose quartz crystals sits on top of the smoky citrine. The rose quartz crystals are large and well defined. There is no mistaking they are rose quartz or that they have a macrocrystalline structure a rare formation since it usually occurs in masses with no true terminations. The white coating on some of the rose quartz crystals indicates that it has not had an acid bath, and this is how it came out of the ground. This stunning formation is from Brazil.
