Smoky amethyst crystals from Madagascar are truly beautiful. They are often polished to remove the hard white coating to reveal their inner beauty. However in polishing they retain many of their elestial formations. They have beautiful blends of smoky and amethyst color, with touches of white quartz. You will often find goethite or lepidocrocite inclusions as found in fire quartz. The energy of amethyst and smoky quartz crystals creates a strong bond between our physical and ethereal bodies. It helps to realign your physical and emotional bodies releasing old patterns, which hold you back from progressing. They help to dispel depression, and the lack of physical energy depression can cause. The presence of lepidocrocite and goethite inclusions amplifies this energy while also assisting you through periods of transition.

 This beautiful elestial has been mostly polished, a few natural areas remain, helping to define the elestial formation. Goethite inclusions can be found nestled into the interior. While the African smoky amethyst crystals are similar in formation and composition, I have found them to have unique personalities. They are a fun loving group that believes in tough love.
