Charming White Calcite Cockatoo Carving (M13147)SOLD!We picked up this bird carving on a whim because he has so much character. Truthfully all of the bird carvings from our favorite Peruvian suppliers are just amazing, and she even does custom designs (I'm still drooling over her description of a peacock she created! So if you're looking for a particular bird, let us know.) Before I digress further this white calcite cockatoo is a real character. With his head slightly cocked he gives you a "what are you doing" look. You almost expect him to start talking to you. There is great attention to detail with a sodalite crest, a serpentine tail with blue angelite on the rump and an onyx beak. This playful bird is perched on a piece of natural botryoidal orange calcite. The white bird also fluoresces pink adding to his character. It is a fantastic way to unobtrusively introduce crystal energies to any space! He exudes charm and personality with an upbeat outlook that lifts your spirits. This lovely carving is from Peru.
