This is a beautiful light smoky quartz crystal from Zomba, Malawi in South Africa. The exterior glistens as it catches the light, bouncing off of the etchings on the surface. The interior is stunningly beautiful with perfect smoky phantoms stacked on top of each other. A close look reveals thin inclusions of Riebeckite, a type of blue amphibole. It is also a rare inclusion to be found in quartz specimens. A small touch of feldspar is found at the base too. The energy is ancient and wise opening your insights to the greater world around you.
