These beautiful blue stones are from Merelani Mine, in Arusha, Tanzania which is now closed. Unfortunately, there is very little of this material left in the commercial market. These are nice high grade pieces, with rich color. Tanzanite works on our higher chakras, heart through crown. It provides for a connection between the heart and crown chakras so that one can make decisions and interpret situations and experiences with enlightened compassion. It can help to ground mental energy through the emotional body. It also helps one feel more compassion and be more loving and centered.
