I’ve always loved working with African crystals and minerals. The quartz crystals all seem to have an ancient and wise energy that is completely untamed. And the colors and inclusions you can find in African quartz are so complex and so lovely. It feels like a homecoming for me whenever we are blessed with crystals from Africa. First appearances aside, there is no mistaking the fact that this crystal has an old soul. There are some bumps and bruises in several places and a peach matrix clings to the main face. However, there is a rich smoky color that contains light phantom layers displayed with surprising clarity. The area of self-healing has gorgeous formations, and here you'll find the inclusions of green chlorite and sprays of quartz growth on the surface.
