The beauty of true strawberry quartz shows when polished and the specimens we have found are usually in small pieces such as tumbled stones and jewelry. True strawberry quartz has a fairly uniform soft red color, due to the inclusion of tiny red hair-like inclusions of hematite. Additionally true strawberry quartz is from Kazakhstan which is in Eurasia and is a former republic of the Soviet Union.
