Lemurian Seed Crystals are mined in Brazil. They were found at the top of a hill that was being strip-mined for quartz. These naturally formed crystals were found separately in sand, and were not attached to clusters. They immediately got attention because they were not like the rest of the quartz found in clusters in that area. Some, but not all, carry a pink to reddish glow. These unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny, they appear frosted or dull - like they have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic is a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal. This crystal is from Serra do Cabral, outside of Joaquim Felicio, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. There are still some stocks available from the old mine, but these are quite limited. However rights to open the other side of the hill have been obtained and a new supply of Lemurians are becoming available. These crystals however are from the original mine.

This is a beautiful and large Lemurian Seed that is from a batch I purchased several years ago.  It has waited all this time, and recently began dropping hints to me that its time is approaching.  This beauty is quite a large one, weighing over 1.5lbs!  It has very strong ribs on one side of its shaft, with more subtle ribbing on the alternating two sides.  On one side, there are myriads of barnacle crystals that have embedded themselves in the quartz, some that have left contact marks, some that have left keys, some that are still embedded and some that are enclosed in the main Lemurian making them manifested crystals.  There is quite a lot going on in this area, so be sure to use a loupe to see all the details.  The Lemurian is fabulously clear, and flawlessly clear in the upper three-fourths of the crystal with a few faint wisps of mist and silvery planes near the base.  Near the point, there are a couple of planes, and one just under the surface that gives a lovely rainbow.  The point is in a 7-3-7 configuration of a transmitter crystal, with a partially formed future time link.  The faces of the Lemurian have been lightly polished.

The crystal measures 6.1" x 2.4" x 2.1" and weighs 1lb 8.4oz.
