This large citrine crystal has a wealth blue tourmaline crystals that are so deep in color they appear black. A large crystal penetrates the side while there are sprays of needles throughout the crystal. The citrine is a rich golden color filled with mist and rainbow filled planes. The back of the crystal has a large patch of ivory albite with small patches on the crystal faces. Small inclusions of albite can also be found within the crystal. There have been several periods of growth, trauma, and regrowth, noted by the fault lines running through the crystal. This is a determined spirit that strives to overcome adversity. This beautiful Brazilian spirit is in excellent condition. It will also self stand with a slight lean to the right.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone".
