Natural citrine has long been one of our favorites of the quartz world. Iron inclusions in the quartz formations give rise to beautiful hues of yellow to yellow gold. Natural citrine stimulates the solar plexus and crown chakras assisting one to bring higher vibrational energies into the physical body. It can give you an energetic pick up at any time by placing at your solar plexus and breathing deeply for a few minutes, visualizing bright white energy streaming into your solar plexus will boost its effect. The warmth of citrine has a soothing effect that counters anxiety and stress.

This point is a bright lemony gold color has beautiful clarity. There are still plenty of planes and veils within to catch reflect the light for an internal radiance. The pictures just don't do the point justice in terms of the rainbows. They move and dance in the light and are more prolific in person. Although the point has been polished, there are a surprising number of natural surfaces. The highly etched patches are easy to pick out. However, two of the sides and one of the faces have not been polished. The unpolished face has light glyphs on it, giving its natural state away. Look closely and some record keepers can be found too. The base has its own surprise with a secret cavern leading to the interior of the crystal.

She has a bright joyful energy, that is filled with a vivacious sense of humor. She helps you find the laugher where there were once only tears. Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing, but it can also be left in the sun for additional charging.
