Lovely Large Warm Congo Citrine Lightbrary Crystal (M8659) $123.00

Natural citrine is one of the rarer varieties of quartz available. Recently batches of amazing crystals have been coming out of the Congo, from the Luena mine. Completely natural in color, these crystals have a deep golden color that is unparalleled! The color is gorgeous, and these crystals have become hotly sought prizes for their color and warm loving energy. Occasionally, these beautiful citrine crystals have formed with a grouping of smaller crystals surrounding the base of a large single crystal. This formation is deeply reminiscent of students clustered about a Master Teacher learning their lessons. The formation gives these unusual and beautiful crystals the energy of a University of higher learning, and has informally been dubbed “Lightbraries” after their Brazilian counterparts. Lightbraries are said to house the Libraries of Light, and much knowledge and wisdom can be gained by working with these beautiful citrine crystals.

A large crystal is surrounded by several larger citrine crystals as well as smaller baby crystals. At the core of the larger crystals sits a fluffy white phantom that looks a snow covered peaks. Their clarity gives them a gorgeous even golden glow in the light. They will sit unsupported in a reclined position. There are some bruises on the main termination and companion crystals but do not mar the overall beauty of the group. Orange matrix still clings to the exterior adding an earthy dimension to their energy. There energy is a like basking in the sun, they are filled with good chi that fills the inner spirit with peace and contentment.

The crystal measures 3.9" x 2.5" x 2.25" and weighs 9.8 oz.

Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.

Place Citrine on your Solar plexus when tired or in need of an energy-boost, especially good for hands on healers to help themselves recuperate. It is one of the few crystals that do not require any cleansing. It can also be left in the sun for additional charging. It makes a very powerful all round elixir.

Cathedral Quartz crystals are named after their shape. They look like mini castles! The ones of the type shown above are not to be confused with Amethyst Geodes; these have only just started to be referred to Cathedrals in the last few years, where the crystals like the one shown above have been referred to Cathedrals for many decades. Clear Cathedrals are referred to as Lightbrary Cathedrals. Lightbraries are said to house the Libraries of Light!

These crystals have doorways in them, more often than not, in their castling definition. To travel into the crystal, just gaze into the doorway, you will see it open and your consciousness will be drawn into the crystal. From there you can travel into different chambers and receive information that you are ready for at that time. You can also travel in inner and outer space in complete safety within the crystal.
