A tabby faden is a rare formation and this crystal is doubly so as this beautiful crystal is from Pakistan. These crystals are quite clear except for the threads running through their center. This crystal is slightly curved and the general shape is like a bolt of lightening. Their energy is joyous, and they help you not to take life too seriously or absorbed in the minor details as to loose track of your overall goals. They have a stabilizing influence, working on all chakra centers. They primarily provide mental and emotional healing, working on the physical last. There energy works through your system with a crisp swiftness that leaves you feeling lighter in mind and heart.

Faden Quartz is known by the "string" or "thread" that is seen perpendicular to the growth of the crystal. The Faden crystal is one of connection, stimulation and furthering connective forces between the self and that which is chosen as the recipient. It is also a stone for the exploration of the parallel dimensions of ones reality. It strengthens the "silver cord" and produces an energy which both promotes and protects one during flight.
