The cascasding elestial formations of this crystal are quite beautiful. The surface is quite heavily etched, attesting to it weathering the elements and time. The energy is ancient and wise. You can clearly see the banding of citrine, prasiolite and amethyst. This is a beautiufl spirit to sit and unwind from the day with. I'm so very excited about this new find of of crystals, it has such an interesting combination. Amethyst, Citrine, Prasiolite (green amethyst), Cacoxenite, and hematite are all present in these crystals. The variations in color are due to the oxidation state of iron. Hematite and cacoxenite are are also present, making 5 distinct forms of iron within the same crystal. Hematite works on the root and the physical body, while citrine spans the physical into the mental bodies. Prasiolite covers the heart chakra while cacoxenite bridges all these energies and boosts the overall effect. The elestial formations speak of wisdom of the ages. The energy is very calm and steadying, encouraging you to come back to your body, come back to your breath. It helps to calm fears and anxiety, countering both the physical and emotional aspects, even if it is just the day to day things. It strengthens the physical body, aiding the body to heal. Be open to new ideas or ways of doing things, for these may be the steps to health and harmony. Sit with these spirits, even for 5 minutes a day to work on the small shifts that can lead to profound changes.
Hematite is the common name for a wide array of iron oxides. Hematite itself has several varieties; the most common is hematite plates that form as a rose, and the massive botryoidal form which is usually polished into a wide array of shapes. Besides natural deposits of hematite, it can also be found included in dirt, clay or crystals, usually giving the material an orange to red coloration. Hematite is a supreme weapon against unionized radiation. It is recommended that you wear it in disk or pendant form against the skin when working on or around computers and such. It saturates your aura with an energy that repels radiation. You will find you have much more energy as a result. Hematite helps keep you grounded and in the here and now. It cleanses blood and is good for keeping you focused on difficult tasks.
Goethite is an iron hydroxide and most often occurs as needle like crystals, but can form in masses too. It is commonly found with amethyst. It has a grounding energy that helps you feel more connected to the physical.
Elestial formations are truly beautiful; they are complex in their simplicity. Most elestials are smoky; however you can find this formation in all types of quartz. Elestials are known for their complex layering and etched surfaces. Elestials crystallize in aqueous environments which create their fantastic formation. They are known by many different names, jacare quartz, skeletal quartz, and crocodile quartz just to name a few. Elestials can form as interlocking plates and complex etchings some say the formations look like the scales of a crocodile (hence the origins of that name). Amethyst may be used to remove radiation the body stores on the sides of the head...such as from computers, microwaves, cell phones, etc. Geodes of Amethyst are particularly good for this, just place the head next to it; you will then feel the radiation being drawn out. Place small pieces of amethyst on the 3rd eye and visualize yourself breathing in the color for total mental and emotional soothing. It's a very good technique to do in bed before going to sleep.
