Historically, orange rutilated crystals have been quite pricey as the supply is extraordinarily limited. Those concerned about ethically harvested crystals can rejoice, because the orange rutilated crystals are collected by hand off-season in fields that are used for farming in Brazil. We were blessed in our recent travels to find a few of these beauties at much more approachable prices.
This is a sweet and small orange rutilated quartz crystal. The crystal hasn't been acid-washed so there is an additional orange glow due to the iron rich deposits of clay on the exterior. This sweetie has nice internal clarity with bright strands of orange rutile streaking through its interior.
