Some of the highest energy quartz that we have worked with comes from the massive range of Himalayan Mountains in Central Asia. This region is scattered with the sacred sites of several religions, and is known as the Heart of the Earth in esoteric traditions. The mountain range is blessed with an intense energy which streams forth from the Earth. We have been privileged to work with quartz crystals from several locales in the Himalayas, and we are delighted to present these amazing quartz clusters from high on the Kangchenjunga Himal.
Kangchenjunga is the third highest mountain peak in the world (28,169ft), and is considered sacred by several local traditions. Translated from Nepali, Kangchenjunga means “The Five Treasures of the Snows” as the mountain has five peaks. Because it is revered as sacred, permission to climb the mountain is rare from the Indian side of the mountain. The extremely difficult access from Nepalese side means Kangchenjunga is very rarely explored. The difficult access makes mineral specimens from the mountain very rare as they must be collected by hand and brought back down the mountain in an arduous trek.
These clusters rest on matrices that are included with mica. The quartz crystals have a high, clear energy that has a pristine quality to it. It makes me think they’ve absorbed the icy winds that wrap Kangchenjunga. They have absorbed the vibrations of the sacred mountain, and they resonate with an unrestrained and pure energy that is ideally suited to meditation. Place a cluster in a healing room, on an altar, or in any environment that would benefit from the cluster’s highly spiritual energy.
The term chlorite actually encompasses a wide variety of minerals, which interestingly does not usually include chlorine as you might think. It is in the silicate family and is associated with clay. It is known for its beautiful formations within crystals, usually as phantoms and often bright green in color. Chlorite can appear red, yellow, white, lavender and black. Sometimes it forms in small crystals and give the appearance of moss within a crystal.
Chlorite inclusions give crystals a has strong anti cancer properties. It is a very good crystal for physical regeneration as it helps us absorb and use the nutrients we take in. Chlorite enables our body to receive and use more efficiently the energy of the quartz while quartz itself amplifies the energy of the chlorite. Chlorite included quartz helps you to work through emotional issues and to discard thought of self-judgment and harsh self- criticism.
A cluster of crystals embodies group energies, fostering harmony, compassion and tolerance. Clusters in a public place help to balance chaotic energies, and can be especially beneficial to business and business meetings. In healing rooms they foster comfort and support. Clusters have an amplified energy that radiates in many directions.
Clear quartz is made up of silicon dioxide, the most abundant mineral on the planet. No wonder it is the most common tool in the mineral kingdom, as well as the most versatile. I like to call it the general practitioner of the crystal world as it works with all chakras. Clear quartz is also known as white quartz or milky quartz when it has an abundance of interior veils and planes. Often crystals will have a mixture of different clarities throughout the interior. Quartz crystals are graded on their clarity, luster, and overall condition of the stone, with the higher degrees of clarity being more valuable. It is interesting to note that although chemically the same, quartz from different regions vibrates with subtle differences.
Quartz attracts and enables you to use more life force energy. Have it around you, on you, or in elixir form, in you! Quartz seeks to bring balance on all our bodies’ levels. Quartz has the ability to receive, store and send energy, this makes it a powerful manifestation tool.
Hold/gaze into the crystal, put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into the crystal, the crystal receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought) then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the crystal is still putting it out. Thus drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. Power tools, you have to love ‘em!
Many refer to this process as programming; many books state that a crystal can hold only one program. They have just found a way to store terabytes of data into a single bubble that makes up the mist you see in the Quartz. My feeling is that Quartz crystals can in fact hold and run more programs than we could give in a life time! Quartz is one of the most flexible crystal tools around. It is very responsive to our intent, what you intend is what you get, to this point it is also one of the most powerful tools and should be treated as such.
