This is what I like to call a worker, it isn't much to look at first, and you really have to in its presence to appreciate its beauty. With the quantity of matrix present, there is a nice overall earthiness to the energy. Its not so much grounding and balance, fair, and just solidly present. Its a perfect focal point for a meditation and supportive energy on your alter.
Azurite is a copper based mineral often found with malachite as it is closely related. Azurite is known for its intense blue colors. Its energy is very soothing and calming for the emotions. You can use the smaller nodules on your closed eyes to sooth and sharpen them. It is very good for artists, authors and other such careers as it bolsters inspiration and intuition.
