It is not often that you can find a geode of this quality! The purple of the amethyst is deep, appearing black from a distance, but up close they are a deep royal purple. In fact the crystals almost look like ametrine when caught in the light with the golden highlights coming from high concentrations of cacoxenite within the amethyst crystals. Cacoxenite can often muddy the hues of amethyst, but I think it compliments it nicely. The pictures just do no do this beauty justice.
