This is a stunning large hand polished celestite egg. It has virtually no matrix in the formation which means this is all celestite. There is a nice large deep blue crystal that disects the front, yet leaves two pockets of smaller glittering blue crystals. It really is an amazing piece. The energy is soothing, maybe a little wistful, reminding you of good times that have been overshadowed by the not so good. The energy is bright, yet soothing. Nice for meditations or to set space in a healing room.

Celestite is the common name for Celestine, which is known for its beautiful icy blue crystals. It owes this color to strontium, and the crystals from Madagascar are in particular known for their deep rich color. Malagasy celestite is often found in geodes and clusters with a limestone matrix, which is soluble in water. As celestite is also slightly soluble it is best to use dry methods to cleanse and charge this mineral.
