A couple of years ago I stumbled across this unusual batch of smoky quartz clusters. Smoky clusters are not very common to begin with, especially with the bright gold rutiles that are found all around and within the this cluster. Some of the rutiles protrude out of the crystals, some line on the surface and some even penetrate multiple crystals within the cluster. This are faint traces of rubellite (pink tourmaline) around the base. This cluster doesn't have a strong presence of rubellite, but the energy is all there, adding a sweet heart energy. The energy is bright and bubbly dispelling negativity and replacing it with love.

Rutilated quartz is formed when titanium rich quartz cools from high temperatures and pressures ease. Rutile crystals begin to form, often as fine metallic strands trapped within the quartz. Rutiles are found in an array of metallic colors, usually gold, silver and copper, but on occasion vibrant oranges or greens are found. Rutilated quartz has a strong electromagnetic energy and stimulates flow through your spinal cord and balances your electromagnetic system.
