This fluorite looks quite unassuming at first, but it comes alive in sunlight with a surprisingly deep purple core. Lovely!

Fishstick fluorite is from a private mine known as the Fish-Stick Pocket, at the Bingham Mine is Socorro County, New Mexico. The Bingham mine is in the same region as the Blanchard mine fluorite that we have also been offering. Anyways, I digress. The Fish-Stick fluorite is highly sought after for its beautiful color zoning and unusual magenta centers. They are also known for their vivid blues and purples too. Unfortunately these crystals are very rare as the roof of the mine collapsed shortly after its discovery. The energy centers in the heart chakra, bring a breath of fresh air. The message of this spirit is to Breathe. Hold this crystal to your heart and focus on your breath to help you release your stress and tension. It will help to remove old attachments that keep you locked in patterns that hold you back. Its energy gently sweeps your higher chakras, clearing the cobwebs allowing room for expansion. It helps you to shed all that does not serve to your highest good.

Fluorite is a stable mineral of calcium fluorite, which displays with a wide range of colors most commonly occurring in purple, green, blue, pink, and yellow. Due to this wide color range it has incredible flexibility when working on the physical body. It mostly commonly forms in cubes crystals, but forms in other multisided crystals such as dodecahedrons. It often displays fantastic color zoning with multiple colors occurring in a specimen, often displaying phantom like formations. Fluorite often has awesome transparency, allowing the specimens to glow like jewels in the light. However fluorite is sensitive to bright light, so avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Many fluorites are fluorescent, and the phenomenon is named for this beautiful mineral. It is a relatively soft stone, although somewhat brittle, which makes it easy to polish into many shapes.

Fluorite is a versatile healer. Clearing negativity and infection it is an excellent choice for fighting off colds and flu. It also helps to strengthen bones and teeth, helping to repair the physical structure. In addition, fluorite can help dissolve arthritis crystals, especially purple fluorite.
