Vanadinite is a mineral combining lead, vanadium, oxygen and chlorite. It crystallizes in the form of globular masses, barrel-shaped crystals, and hollow prismatic crystals. The colors it forms are red, orange-red, brownish red, brown or yellow. It is a rare mineral and is sometimes found in the upper oxidized parts of lead deposits. It is found in Morocco, New Mexico and Arizona. Because of its lead content, I do not recommend using this formation to make an elixir and you should wash your hands after handling it. Use dry methods to clear this beauty too.

During our recent travels we picked up a few pieces that are burnt orange in color and come from Mibladen, Morocco. This is a beautiful crystal that resonates well with the lower three chakras. It is a powerful stones that will provide one with stamina, forcefulness, and persistency when faced with difficult challenges and goals.
