Small Frosty Lemurian Seed Quartz Crystal (M11659)

Lemurian Seed Crystals are mined in Brazil. They were found at the top of a hill that was being strip-mined for quartz. These naturally formed crystals were found separately in sand, and were not attached to clusters. They immediately got attention because they were not like the rest of the quartz found in clusters in that area. Some, but not all, carry a pink to reddish glow. These unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny, they appear frosted or dull - like they have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic is a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal. This crystal is from Serra do Cabral, outside of Joaquim Felicio, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. There are still some stocks available from the old mine, but these are quite limited. However rights to open the other side of the hill have been obtained and a new supply of Lemurians are available; this spirit is from the new pocket.

This small Lemurian is lightly etched on the faces giving her a frosted appearance. Light horizontal striations mark her sides obscuring her inner clarity. A few small rainbows dance within. She's small enough to travel with you, and would not be adverse into being part of a pendant that really makes a statement! A few minor bruises are present, but they do not diminish her beauty.

The crystal measures 1.6" x 0.9" x 0.9" and weighs 0.9 oz.
