This creamy golden calcite crystal contains vivid red hematite phantoms, it glows with sunset colors in the light. The exterior has light glyphs that radiate from the base to the edges like a fan and shimmer in the light. This crystal glows pink to red under a black light and is truly stunning. (You'll have to take my word for it because we haven't acquired the knack of photographing under a black light.) In some areas the hematite inclusions burst forth and have formed pockets that lead to the interior of the crystal. It's known as mariposa calcite due to the transformation of the crystals. Mariposa in Spanish means butterfly. It has a rich energy of transformation, just like a caterpillar that forms a cocoon and emerges as a butterfly. Even humble beginnings can lead to amazing results. It teaches one lessons of renewal. The crystal is in overall very good condition. This type of calcite is fairly uncommon and is from Chihuahua, Mexico.
