Hollandite inclusions form in groups that create a black star inside the crystal; these crystals are quite rare. This is a lovely lightbrary crystal containing dozens of stars within its mist. These star formations are quite pronounced and in some cases look like spiders, giving rise to their nickname of spider quartz! These crystals are known for their protective energy. Their energy protects and heals, promoting new growth. This beautiful crystal was mined in Ambositra Madagascar.

This protective crystal is completely natural in formation with a polished tip. You will notice some areas of a dark matrix clinging to the crystal. This is due to the crystal not being acid washed. This crystal radiates a warm apricot glow and I find that the unity of the dark matrix with the apricot glow adds more beauty and character to its presence. Surrounding its base are many smaller crystals huddled together to form a protective blanket around the main crystal. This little beauty has a wonderful clarity and is loaded with stars. It has a warm and loving energy.

The crystal measures 1.5" x 0.8" x 0.7" and weighs 0.6 oz.
