In our Tucson finds this year were some beautiful natural yttrium fluorite formations. Yttrium fluorite forms in masses therefore you won’t find crystal formations of this mineral. They are smooth and shaped like a large tumbled stone, yet are not polished to a high gloss. They have been lightly tumbled to smooth their edges. They are quite gemmy despite their frosted appearance. Rubbing them between your palms causes them to pick up the oils in your skin and really brings out their soft lavender purple color. Unlike most fluorites, Yttrium fluorite is a stone for the physical world. They help to manifest ideas by bringing information, thoughts and ideas into the physical plane. Its energy is gentle yet profound. They promote gentle shifts in the physical body allowing your system to gently let go of stress and tension that is caused by trying too hard. They teach one to let go and just let the energy and thoughts flow and not to force it. Their energy resonates well for children who have a hard time relating and communicating in this the physical world. This beautiful stone is from Mexico.

Subtle hues of lavender and purple are soften by the misty exterior of this stone which obscures the inner clarity. One side is still completely natural with a gentle rippled texture.
