Unique Midnight Sky Speckled Pyrite in Aegerine Sphere Arkansas (M10773) $200.00We had the pleasure of meeting a skilled carver in Tucson that loves working with unusual materials. We purchased several one of a kind spheres from him. This particular sphere is an incredible piece! This sphere was carved from a recent discovery of aegerine porphyry with pyrite inclusions from Arkansas. The material has been dubbed Midnight Sky since the pyrite inclusions shimmers like stars against the black throat of the midnight sky. The sphere has veins of white running through it that I assume could be quartz or calcite. The aegerine itself has a subtle colorplay of deep black to a dark slate grey. Typically aegerine is a high energy stone, but I feel a deep slow energy from this sphere. It is strongly protective against negativity and in particular psychic attacks.
The sphere measures 1.9" in diameter and weighs 7.7oz. Pyrite brings the energy of the Sun into the physical. It increases physical stamina, stimulates the intellect and helps to transform thought into intelligent action. It is a wonderful stone for use in wealth magic or in trying to manifest needed energies. An excellent shield-stone, pyrite removes negativity from the aura. |
