Looking at the pictures you can see where the title of this sphere came from. It's uncanny that the planes within give the appearance of the man in the moon! This plane glistens in the light with a pastel rainbow. In the right light, you can see light banding within the sphere, its very subtle. While the sphere does not have a star asterism, there is a band that shimmers around the sphere.
