Citrine, while not as rare as many crystals, is the “rarest” of the quartz cousins. For this reason, many times the citrine commonly on the market is heat treated amethyst. This citrine feels much different that natural citrine, with energy residing more in the sacral chakra, with a lower vibrational energy. Citrine is a phenomenal mineral, and one of my favorites. It is one of two minerals that will not accumulate negative energy, but somehow transmutes it into loving energy. I find this interesting as both minerals--citrine and kyanite--are symbolic of the Archangel Michael. It is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth.

It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body.
