While we were in Tucson this past spring, we came across a small batch of quartz spheres from Brazil. Now we all know that Brazil produces some amazing minerals and crystals, but these quartz spheres were very intriguing and oh my the energy! We picked up two to offer on the site. The versatile mineral iron stains the two spheres a golden color, and provides the inclusion to make them both Golden Healers. It gives them an incredible warmth of energy that is both protective and encouraging. But the true delight of these small orbs are the myriad of fern-like dendrite inclusions.

Dendritic Quartz is an interesting and beautiful stone which appears to be included with fossilized plants, trees or ferns. The dendritic pattern is really inorganic manganese oxide. Traces of moisture and manganese, trapped inside quartz produces stains resembling trees branches or ferns called Dendrites. This amazing spheres are just loaded with this delicate branches, lending them a very nature oriented energy in addition to the warm protectiveness of the Golden Healer inclusions.

Concentrated in sprays, the Golden Healer inclusions comprise only a very small area of the sphere.  This makes me think that the sphere is a very pale citrine color.  Much clearer than the other, larger dendritic orb we are offering, this sweet thing is just stunning.  The dendrites and rainbows are tantalizing and abundant!  The polish on this small orb is not perfect, especially where internal planes meet the surface.  But its beauty and energy more than make up for any imperfections.
