Smoky Lemurian crystals are a beautiful and special crystals. Their energy is so rich and warm and often resonate with masculine energy such as this one. Its energy enriches from within on both a spiritual and emotional level. This large crystal has a beautiful golden brown hue that is very clear, there are few planes or misty areas within the crystal and they are mainly found towards the base. The interior has intriguing smoky color phantoms that are so ethereal as to disappear as you turn the crystal, deeper in color towards the edges turning lighter towards the center of the crystal. But hidden deep in his interior is a faint white phantom that is perfectly formed. The horizontal etchings are not deep ridges until you almost reach the termination. The crystal has not been polished at all, and there are some minor chips and bruises on the faces and along the shaft, normal of most natural crystals. He is a warm companion with a sense of humor. He appears to me as a young man, but looking into the depth of his eyes, there is a timelessness to him. Age is how you feel, physical years need not wear you down. He has a sense of humor and helps you not to take life too seriously. He brings out the lighter side in us all.


This beautiful crystal is from a small batch of rare smoky Lemurian crystals we picked while in Tucson. Some of these crystals have been partially polished, but also retain their most characteristic trait of the horizontal striations. I also discovered that when the polish the Lemurians in this manner, the buff 1mm or less of the surface mainly to smooth away minor bumps and bruises. They have a high vibration that works from the root chakra up to the crown. They help one find balance and harmony in their life. Lemurian Seed Crystals were found at the top of a hill that was being strip-mined for quartz in Brazil. What made these crystals unusual is that these naturally formed crystals were found separately in sand, and were not attached to clusters. Many have a pink to reddish glow, but they are also found in golds of citrine, browns of smoky and sometimes smoky-citrine. The vast majority of these unique crystals are clear quartz, but instead of being shiny, they appear frosted or dull - like they have a matte finish. Their most unique characteristic is a series of horizontal striations running up one or more sides of the crystals. Usually, these distinct horizontal striations end in a triangular face, forming the apex of the crystal.
