This is a strikingly beautiful light smoky quartz point. The interior clarity is breathtaking, letting the light through so you can see the silver rutiles within. When the light reflects off of the rutiles and planes, the whole interior of the point comes alive. While rutiles normally grown in a straight line, several of these silvery filaments are curved. If you catch the point in just the right light you will find several elusive phantom layers.
