I love the clarity of this piece that allows the light to dance with rainbows off interior planes. Smoky phantoms drift in an out of view, allowing you to access this energy, or focus on the golden light of the citrine. Natural citrine is one of the rarer varieties of quartz available. Some of the most beautiful specimens come from the Congo region, both for their deep natural golden color and warm energies. Their energy is bright and warm, yet infused with a deep sense of wisdom. They bring with them a strong sense of joy that is positively contagious, giving you boost both physically and emotionally. Their golden hues are often accompanied by either smoky or white phantoms. They help to bring one to acceptance and understanding of past events which have made you who you are today. They teach you to accept and nurture who and what you are, instead of defining yourself by what you are not.
Rainbows occur when light is refracted causing a prismatic effect, usually along a plane or inclusions within a crystal. The refraction is often temperature sensitive causing the rainbow to appear and disappear. It is believed that these crystals exhibit the closest manifestation of pure white light that can be witnessed on the physical plane. Rainbow crystals are used during meditation to escort us into the realm of the pure white light and can bring depth and clarity to dreams, help manifest wishes, and overcome negativity to be able to love life in the present moment. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.
Citrine is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth. It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence.
