The clarity of this crystal really allows the light to play within, dancing with rainbows. Even the surface has a rainbow sheen to it due to a light coating that has not been acid washed. If you look closely you'll find faint phantom layers too. This is a bold spirit that helps you grab life by the horns and enjoy it to the fullest. It helps you to find the joy in even the mundane aspects of life. A future time links keeps you moving towards the future, not bogged down by the past. A few minor bruises add character and charm, but several of the scars are natural formations from mineral inclusions. Natural citrine is one of the rarer varieties of quartz available. Some of the most beautiful specimens come from the Congo region, both for their deep natural golden color and warm energies. Their energy is bright and warm, yet infused with a deep sense of wisdom. They bring with them a strong sense of joy that is positively contagious, giving you boost both physically and emotionally.
Rainbows occur when light is refracted causing a prismatic effect, usually along a plane or inclusions within a crystal. The refraction is often temperature sensitive causing the rainbow to appear and disappear.
