It is a charming crystal duo, although the elestial formations are not as defined as most candle quartz crystals. It has red phantoms towards the termination of the crystal that can take on a purplish hue. For this reason, some believe the inclusions are lithium. The energy is soothing, grounded and warm, but can be felt in the root chakra more than the heart. It aids kundalini energy to rise up through the chakras. This lovely duo with self stand. Candle quartz crystals are known for their luminous white appearance with small cascading features down their sides that often look like melted candles on their side. Hematite is the common name for a wide array of iron oxides.
