This is an intriguing crystal that I seriously contemplated keeping in my personal collection. Alas, the crystal's path is divergent from my own, so here it is. This beauty has a interesting golden green color, almost reminding me of the Oro Verde citrines. The termination shows many points, like it has been healing. The faces of the point also have a milky whiteness under the surface that forms a white phantom. The phantom also reminds me of the titanium gas phantoms from a few years ago. This sweetie has a warm energy that fills you with comfort and peace.We were drawn to the bright golden hues of this beautiful natural citrine and their energy is bright, bubbly and for the lack of a better description, golden. We believe the crystals are from Brazil, but there is much secrecy around the exact location. As mentioned in our blog, the dealer we purchased the crystals from claimed he was the sole source of the 2012 crystal, and probably holds the trademark too. We almost passed these crystals by for just those reasons, but we could not resist their energy. After all a crystal has no need for trademarks. ;-)
That being said, this batch of citrine is totally amazing. Bright hues of golden sunshine seem to be captured within the crystals. Their energy is bright and bubbly and creates a warm buzz in your energy fields. They are filled with love and joy which wrap around you like ribbons, supporting and embracing you. They help you to release your fears and teach you to embrace your spiritual path.
Rainbows occur when light is refracted causing a prismatic effect, usually along a plane or inclusions within a crystal. The refraction is often temperature sensitive causing the rainbow to appear and disappear. Natural citrine stimulates the solar plexus and crown chakras assisting one to bring higher vibrational energies into the physical body. It can give you an energetic pick up at any time by placing at your solar plexus and breathing deeply for a few minutes. Visualizing bright white energy streaming into your solar plexus will boost its effect. The warmth of citrine has a soothing effect that counters anxiety and stress. Personally, I use citrine in conjunction with labradorite to help keep panic/anxiety attacks at bay.
Citrine is also known as the "Merchant's Stone". It is quite helpful in acquiring and maintaining wealth. It is an excellent stone for clearing the aura and for aligning the auric body with the physical structure, diminishing the "muddy" areas in both the aura and the physical body. It can act to stabilize the emotions, to dispel anger, and to encourage one to "look toward the sunrise", the freshness of beginnings and the reality of excellence.
