The formations of this piece are just beautiful. There are intricate etchings all around, with a fair number of record keepers. There is a lovely cascade of yellow mica that splits the formation almost in half. The energy awakens the solar plexus, radiating in all directions to enliven the whole body. Yellow mica has a nice golden energy that works on all levels and chakras, but it's energy is the strongest on the emotional level. It is excellent at helping you to really know yourself. Its energy aids self-reflection, helping you to see yourself in a truer light. It helps to set aside the emotional aspects of events, so that you can observe them more clearly. These emotions that you've set aside can, in turn, be looked at separately, so that you can truly discern the real issue. Why does your anger suddenly flare, why do you burst into tears so easily, why can you not seem to shake a depression. Mica helps you see the reflection within, therefore it has a great energy to help you to fully understand and resolve your problems.
A crystal that has pyramidal or triangular shaped symbols that are either engraved into or are raised on one or more of a crystal faces is called a Record Keeper (RK) or Recorder. These symbols are not easily seen and usually need to be searched out by looking at the crystal in a bright light while closely examining the faces. Cathedral quartz is associated with the higher realms and is a high vibrational crystal. They store an amazing amount of information. They work with you to open your higher consciousness. They keep one moving forward along their path, helping to prevent stagnation and regression. These crystals have gentle energy which is often very powerful. Their soothing energy makes them beautiful additions to meditation and healing work. Cathedral quartz crystals are master healers and will work on all levels and chakras. They are also excellent assistants in group work such as meditations or healing rooms.
These crystals have doorways in them, more often than not, in their castling definition. To travel into the crystal, just gaze into the doorway, you will see it open and your consciousness will be drawn into the crystal. From there you can travel into different chambers and receive information that you are ready for at that time. You can also travel in inner and outer space in complete safety within the crystal.

Hold/gaze into the crystal, put your thought/need (what you wish to manifest) into the crystal, the crystal receives the thought (and the feeling behind the thought) then stores and transmits those thoughts and feelings into the ethers. Thus, even while you’re not thinking about that particular manifestation, the crystal is still putting it out. Thus drawing your manifestation towards you at a much greater rate than before. Many refer to this process as programming; many books state that a crystal can hold only one program.
