This is one crystal that you truly have to see in person to fully appreciate its beauty. The formations range from bold to subtle. Soft smoky quartz has subtle phantoms within that contrast to the bright orange matrix, some of which is imbedded in the crystal. From these formations you can see that this polished point has been created from an elestial crystal. The polishing allows you to see that there are three enhydro bubbles within, one has been marked with a marker that can be washed off. Beautiful rainbows glow as you turn the crystal in your hand. Also hiding within is a wisp of amethyst. Copper rutiles streak through the interior with a rare curved rutile among them. This point is truly stunning when the interior is lit. This beautiful spirit has been in our collection for some time, and was actually one of the pieces from our first shipment of crystals!

The energy is ancient and wise and helps you overcome turbulence in your past. It washes away the negativity, softening the hard shell shielding you from fully participating in life. Enhydro means "water within". These are crystals that contain pockets of pure water, mysteriously trapped in ages gone by. Water has been found in chalcedony, agate and quartz and is usually perceived by the presence of moving gas bubbles in the water. Very occasionally, there are pockets of water with no bubble but a tiny floating inclusion. Even rarer are trapped bubbles of oil.

As water indicates the emotions, these crystals can have a profound effect on our emotional life. In Nature, water that cannot move becomes stagnated - as emotions that cannot be expressed stagnate. Enhydros contain water trapped in very limited space, but the water has remained clean and pure for millennia. The signature of these crystals indicates a purification of the emotions, even if those emotions stagnated under conditions of severe deprivation.

Rutilated quartz is formed when titanium rich quartz cools from high temperatures and pressures ease. Rutile crystals begin to form, often as fine metallic strands trapped within the quartz. Rutiles are found in an array of metallic colors, usually gold, silver and copper, but on occasion vibrant oranges or greens are found. Rutilated quartz has a strong electromagnetic energy and stimulates flow through your spinal cord and balances your electromagnetic system. This helps to alleviate pain and numbness while aiding cellular regeneration. I have used rutilated quartz to greatly alleviate back pain from a car accident. Phantom quartz records the stages of growth of a crystal. Phantoms mark a time of no growth, where another mineral has settled on the surface before the crystal began to grow again.
